Web Writing Insecurities

I have attended only one ENL 623 class, but I am already overwhelmed. As a first time web-developer, I naturally have some insecurities. While the majority of my fears are tech-related, I find myself increasigly--and surprisingly--concerned about writing for the web.
- Formatting guidelines. There are so many rules I need to memorize, like the proper way to format lists, use boldface, or advertise hyperlinks.
- Concise writing. I worry about my ability to be succinct, yet informative.
- Audience consideration. I need to tailor my writing to meet the needs of Interent readers.
Writing is a process; I am not going to become a skilled web writer overnight. Thankfully, there are plenty of web writing how-tos online, as well as competent writers in this class who can help me along the way.
