XML Views Replaced by XML Views Backend

XML Views Backend replaced XML Views. Developer “twistor” maintains the new version of the module regularly. He calls it “the future of XML Views.” At present, XML Views Backend exists as an alpha version only.

Downloading XML Views Backend

1. Open Drupal.org

2. Search for 'XML Views Backend'

3. Filter search by Modules

4. Click 'XML Views Backend'

5. Scroll to Downloads

6. Click 'tar.gz' next to '6.x-1.0-alpha1'

7. Save the file

Once saved, developers can upload and install the module as they did XML Views.

Views XML is Not XML Views

Don't bother clicking on 'Views XML' which searching. No one maintains this obsolete module.

Words of Caution

I don't guarantee that Stan wants us to use this module. However, no other viable alternatives presented themselves. I trust this module works like XML Views because the same developer created it. Thus, I thought I would share my findings with the class.
